i have long hair - 8-9 inches below my shoulders with a straight fringe- and i mostly wear it up in a ponytail for school. but im getting really sick of that! my school doesn't encourage girls to wear their hair out, because they think it looks messy...grr. is there anything i can do with my hair at school to make it look nice!?!?! any hairstyles you can think of??

Try putting your hair in a messy bun by looping your hair halfway through the hair band.
You can also try a semi french twist. You'll need the comb clips. Put your hair in a pony tail and twist it up the back of your head, use two clips on either side to keep it in place and let the ends hang loose over it.
You can also put your hair up halfway on top and let the back stay loose.
You can also go to the store where they have magazines, there are always a few hairstyle magazines on the rack. Hope this helps a bit!

if you were willing to get it cut, you could get it cut about 2 or 3 inches below your shoulders, and wear it in a side ponytail. you could also wear a messy bun
