I have long hair that is really thick, and i can't do much with it. I thin it everytime I go to my stylist, but it barely lasts! By the time I finish my new hairstyle or cut with my stylist its thick again.
Now I want to get short, about shoulder length layered hair (the highest layer hitting just past the jaw) with side-bangs. (I already have side bangs) I'm still wondering if I want to get it dyed brown, my natural color, without highlights.
Will this work out? I had my hair short before and it was really thick at the bottom and i hated it! Will the layers make it seem less thick? Will it be easy to work with, or at least manageable?
Thank you!
Long to short thick hair?
The layers will definitely help out a lot! You should maybe go to a nice salon and tell them how you feel, they can do something modern and show you how to style it. I like Aveda salons, they do a great job usually!

Ya it seems managable! the highlights will look better with the layers and that takes off alot of the thickness (I have thick hair too)! I'm not a big side bang person but that is just my opinion.

You can do whatever you wnat's in your hair your in stylist or not but the most important is you love your hair and the the style you're going to it
