Question about new hairstyle for school!?

I was wondering,because i want a whole new cute hairstyle[its summer break] when i go back to school[5th grade]. Currently i have brown hair a drop lower then my shoulders, and i had layers in the front but there growing out to like my chin and it look ugly now!I kinda want bangs,but idk my mom says there annoying and they wil bother me,do you think so? and if i get bangs i dont know if they will poof out like bangs are suppose to or fall flat on ur forehead cause i know a girl that had it flat and it was disgusting lol. Is bangs a good idea or no? And no im not cutting my hair any shorter! or any other suggestions? Oh and i had my hair long before like to like below my armpit ish lol before but yeah i got it cut to my shoulders now its probrably like a inch or 2 below the shoulders but by the time september comes it will probrably be where it was right? I just want a new hairstyle! please suggestions! thankyou!

i just got a haircut and i got my hair angled in the front, with the shortest parts almost chin length. i have thick hair so i got my hair thinned out so its much less poofy. if you wantyou could get side bangs, theyre in style. and if they get annoying just clip them back. theyre supposed to poof out a little, yeah i agree it looks weird when they are flat on your forehead.

Get an angled cut, fringe bangs and a piecey bottom. That work on practically everyone. I'm sure u will look great and the best of luck. Remember everyone is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

Mom is right about bangs, especially if you decide you don't like them ... a real pain to grow out. Am sure your hairstylist will be able to give you some good suggestions. Try it a little shorter for summer for something different. It will always grow ........
