Bridesmaid Hair Style -long strapless gown?

I am going to be a bridesmaid in a few weeks and was wondering what type of hairstyle would look best with a long strapless gown. Should I wear my hair up or down? What looks best?

Show off your hair! Do not wear it up. I think it would look best in pictures if you had your hair half up and half down with big luscious curls. I think they call them barrel curls.

My step daughter just got married on June 2nd. Her bridesmaids all wore coral colored strapless gowns %26amp; they all wore their hair up. It looked very classy %26amp; elegant. I would go with an "Up-Do".

Half up half down with soft curls maybe your bangs swooped to the side!

Before I answer this the bride is not requiring all of you to wear the same haristyle is she? Anyway a pinup would look great with the dress

I love to wear my hair both ways with a strapless gown. Wear it down with spiral curls in it. Or wear it up with a beautiful summer flower in it. Both are really CUTE!!

You should wear it up...its out of your face you don't have to mess with it much... curl with hot rollers Pull it back loosely to the nape of your neck with one of those hair ties with the balls...it wont mess up your hair like a normal hair tie would...pin the pony tail up with bobby pins ( kinda like a loose ball and pin with bobby pins keeping the curls looking nice and loose...and it would like very pretty...also don't forget the puff in the front and spray with shine spray

With a strapless gown you would usually want to show off your shoulders. If you are self consious about your shoulders try a half up half down style. If you do do an up do (wow that sounds silly!) [depending on your hair]:

If you have bangs that are not usually tied up with a regular pony tail:

Curl your bangs in, with a possible side part. You may have longer hair that you usually tuck behind you ears, if you do take that hair [as long as there isnt much] and give them a tight SPIRAL CURL. this will look totally cute. then with your hair up, if you put it into a messy bun, or some sort of bun, any longer hairs that are sticking out give those a spiral curl as well. This especially looks good if you have a darker hair color and have longer bangs.

If your bangs are longer another option is that you can pin the up in you hair pony tail. this would also look very well with the side hair in spiral curls.

if you put you hair in a regular ponytail i suggest putting the tail in spiral curls but not the part that is closer to your head... if that makes any sense at all.
