Why don't you get it cut to about mid back and have the stylist put in some long layers to give it some movement? It will be easier to style.

Your hair is way too long probably for you to style it the way you want to! So maybe you should get it cut, but only a couple of inches. I'm not saying cut it to your shoulders! Anyways it won't be so hard to deal with and you could do more things with it. Put it all up, in a bun, or ponytail, put it half down, all the way down. Put different clips in it, or get it cut to a certain style that is easy to maintain. Anyways good luck.
