Long, black hair?

My hair is really black and shiny, but I barely have any of it. Also, because it's really long (Down past my waist), it has some split ends. What's the best shampoo and conditioner for it?

Also, what are some good hairstyles? I can't think of any besides putting it up in a ponytail ^_^

i think that you should get about 2 inches snipped off the the bottom to get rid of the spliet ends. Then to make it look like you have more hair get it layered a bit, get it feathered around your face. also tresemme is REALLY good shampoo and conditioner, it leaves your hair soft shiny and silky....and it isnt that expensive either.!

pantene pro v is really good also dove shampoo is also good you can also give your split ends a hot oil treatment thats really good and also a good hair style would be braided in the front then down or do u want to cut your hair

you should definetly cut ur hair short with layers with side swept bangs to make it hav more volumeand shape and style and stuff. also, try using volumizing conditioners and shampoos. as soon as u get ur hair cut then hairstyles should come easily. also, blowdrying helps add volume sometimes and getting ur hair cut generally gets rid of split ends. hope this helps!!! :)

try a side fringe, and some layers. also, cuttttt your hair more - thats probably why you have split ends! if your hair is particularly thin and you dont want straight hair anymore - think of getting a weak perm. boosts volume.

Don't listen to those idiots, I'm sure you have beautiful hair. A neat trim should take care of those split ends, you don't have to cut off a lot. If your hair is thin, you might need a protein shampoo. Why don't you treat yourself to a hairdresser and ask some questions about possible styles and shampoos? Also you can ask at department stores, a lot of them have counters where you can ask advice.

I have long black hair too, but not as long as yours. First, you need to get a hair trim. you dont need to cut alot of it. just enough to cut the split ends off so that your hair will be healthy. I use the Aussie shampoo and conditioner. its the purple kangaroo. i like this shampoo very much. as for styles, its nice to get your hair curl, or wavy. since ur hair is long, it might take a few minutes to do your hair, but the end results will be beautiful.

u should go 2 a hair salon and theyll condition and wash it 4 u. they'll probably cut off the split ends. look in some magazines and find a hair style u like and ask the hair salon people 2 make it like that. that's wat i do.lol
